I love her. I’m so sad that she is gone. She seemed like such a fun person.❤ I wish she’d had the chance to write Z, but I can almost picture her telling us to imagine the ending.;-)

I might ask the writer to consider that much of his audience appears to be affluent due to their ability to use their intellect, and that regardless of background, all of his audience remains loyal and appreciative throughout their life. I would ask the writer to consider the question, if this truly is intellectually, weak, how was it possible for him to have such a loyal for their lifetime audience? There has to be more to it than what most people gather on a first impression. I mean, with that kind of audience there has to be. It might be interesting to dig a little deeper

Gosh Anne Patchette is so boring and a bad interviewer...she's projecting her bland views on Glennon and it's like she's trying to cut her down to size like a mom would a bratty child who thinks she knows better..it's so frustrating coz she does this with most people she interviews including Elizabeth Gilbert although Liz can ward off her stupid remarks better

I love how she calls Lincoln, TR, FDR, and LBJ her “guys”, like they are her family. She brings their humanity to the forefront along with their übermensch-ness or virtuosity, (to crib Nietzsche or Plato). I would also love to be a dinner guest with Jon and Doris.

That was great! Two smart ladies being themselves. I like that. I think women still don't have as much freedom to be themselves. Society seems a lot more judgmental towards women. We're not supposed to make mistakes, be tired mothers, be angry and so on, we are supposed to be perfect parents all of the time, we need to pretend and play a role. In the meantime nobody is perfect, life is not perfect that's why I like real books, deep books. She should be able to write about parenting what she wanted to write, to infuse realness and vulnerability. I don't like pretentious books, on-the-surface books. On the other hand, she has fans because they like the realness of her books.
